Yisa, who is only 19 years old, was a stellar student at the Academy at Homira, Mirial. She graduated top of her class, with a speciality in the ancient history of the galaxy and arcane artifacts. Although her accomplishments were impressive, her history is tragic.

Yisa's parents died when she was 11, and she was taken in by a family friend, the scholar Namek Bondara. Namek was kind to her, and taught her all things he knew about the ancient history of the Galaxy. When Yisa was 16 she joined the Academy, and studied hard, learning all she could about the ancient cultures of the Galaxy, and developed a special interest in the culture of the Jedis and the way of the Force.

Since she graduated at the age of 17, she started to run missions and errands for Professor Namek, finding artifacts and cultural remnants on ancient planets around the Galaxy.

Lately, Yisa has been running into more and more difficult missions. She has been asked to investigate planets and moons under Imperial quarantine. Yisa has therefore (with the funds of Bondara) hired some guns and mercenaries to help her in her quests. Lately she has contracted the Gand Jäger and the Corellian hired gun Ryah Volins to protect and accompany her on her quests to the remote planets hiding the truths of the ancient religion of the Jedi and the Sith...

Yisa is a very likable character. She is an eager and zealous young woman, capable and ambitious. Here greatest driving force is to find out more about - , and understand the Force, and the history of the Jedi...

She lost her parents at the age of 11. She is not exactly clear about why her parents died, but it seems they were sentenced to death for treason against the Galactic Empire. Since then Yisa has basically received Namek Bondara as her adoptive father. "Uncle Namek," however, has seemingly used her (and her skills) to locate forgotten temples and sacred places. He is paying for her ventures, but does not hesitate to remind her that she owes him everything for taking care of her and raising her as his own. He does this - not with threats, but with emotional manipulations, using Yisa's guilt.

Yisa herself is fascinated by the concept of the Force, and has sometimes dreams about being able to connect to the Living Force... At this point, however, she assumes that it is all a dream. The Force may only be a legend, told by old women, and denied by the Empire. Although, Uncle Namek says that he had seen the Jedi in action during the Clone Wars, and that there even was a Jedi Master from Mirial. Either way, Yisa is attracted to the idea of an invisible power that holds all together, and makes sense of all things - even senseless things like the death of her parents.
