Background
Identified at an early age as Force sensitive, Savahn was taken from his family on Arkania to be raised and trained in the Jedi temple on Coruscant.
Since he was raised with the Jedi, the typical arrogance and ethnocentrism seen in most Arkanians was not as pronounced in SaVahn. As he grew older and stronger in the Force, his mentor, Master Abe Tommin, started to notice these tendencies in SaVahn's attitudes. SaVahn favored increased Jedi involvement in the war with the CIS, and also espoused some unusual and non-traditional ideas for fighting the war.
In an attempt to turn SaVahn's focus away from the power to be gained from augmenting the Force with technology, Master Tommin attempted to keep Savahn busy by assigning him duty in the Infirmary, tending to patients there. While this did bestow some added level of compassion and empathy toward others, it also emphasized to SaVahn the need to end the war, and quickly.
SaVahn's research led him to be particularly impressed with the fighting style of the Mandalorians. The Mandalorians' effectiveness and durability on the battlefield made Savahn realize that the Jedi could be similarly powerful, with the appropriate upgrades. SaVahn felt the Jedi Order could gain a lot, especially survivability, by incorporating more personal armor and technology in their approach to combat, melding the Jedi's Force style, and the Mandalorians' proficiency with technology, into one superior fighting form.
Motivation
SaVahn was driven by a desire to end the war decisively, betting on the power of the Jedi, Force, and the integration of technological improvements to achieve it. While opposed to the CIS, he researched them extensively, as their tech frequently surpassed the Republic's. However, when Order 66 happens, he sees the Jedi Order, all he ever really knew, wiped out. Now he maintains the fervor of his drive, but it's to increase his power, both in Force and Tech advancement, to overthrow the Empire.
Morality
Morality: 53
Ambition:
The character has set goals, some of which might take years to achieve. With each accomplishment there is another step towards an ultimate reward and the satisfaction of attainment. SaVahn has a vision of Jedi using the Force integrated with technology, to increase their combat prowess and survivability. He saw the effectiveness of the Mandalorians, and feels that there is much the Jedi can learn from that approach.
Impatience:
The many great things that the character wants to achieve are not all possible in one lifetime, so the character sometimes make compromises in order to achieve more. His need for immediate achievement might even prove self-destructive, interfering with his long-term goals. SaVahn may succumb to temptation to cut corners to meet his ends, possibly hurting others in the process. For "the greater good", the end may justify the means.
