Kat Navarra was born on Corellia to a relatively poor single mother. Whenever she asked who her dad was, her mother would reply that he was a one of the best starpilots in the galaxy. This instilled a love for starships and flight in Kat, and she managed to get a job on a 'courier ship', the An's Wrath, at 16. While she mainly carried out maintenance and the like, she managed to get the ships captain to give her some flight lessons. After many years of operating the ships weapon systems, smuggling various contraband and, on occasion, piloting their ship, Kat bought her own ship, the Outrider.

After a year or so of flying solo, she found out that a bounty had been placed on the entire crew of the An's Wrath. Unfortunately, she found this out after the Empire tried to kill her, causing her to crash on Tattooine. Without a ship, Kat is stranded on the desert planet and is looking for any way possible offworld.

Kat wears a black jacket with a fur collar over a long sleeved white shirt. She wears tan pants tucked into brown boots with a holster on her right leg. In hotter climates, Kat ties her jacket around her waist and rolls her sleeves up.
