1) How did you discover your force sensitivity?
As a mechanic, Dara is no stranger to close calls. But one day, Dara and a fellow mechanic and close friend, Azalyn Koda were working on a thruster. The thruster was poorly mounted and slipped off, nearly crushing Azalyn. Dara, out of instinct and fear more than sense, tapped into the Force and held up the thruster long enough for Azalyn to escape.

2) Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
Azalyn's reaction to Dara's blatant display of her Force abilities wasn't one Dara expected. Instead of gratitude, Azalyn attempted to report her. The betrayal Dara felt weighted on her mind since her escape.

3) How did you come to join the NJO?
During one of the trading stops, the client of the shipment had reached out to Dara seemingly out of the blue. The client claimed to be a Jedi, much to Dara's disbelief. After some time spent to get better acquainted—and some snooping on Dara's part, she was convinced and agreed to join the Jedi on their return trip to the temple.

4) Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
Azalyn Koda, once a close friend to Dara now sees her as an enemy and a monster. Azalyn never showed a strong belief in Imperial propaganda. Neither did she ever believed the Force or the Jedi to be a real thing. Just some silly stories told by her parents to scare her into behaving properly. Now that she got a glimpse of the Force and its capabilities, the tales seem far more real now.

5) Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
One client came by the repair shop that Dara worked at, brought in a speeder that looked more at home in a garbage heap. "Cascade failure," even their most experienced mechanic claimed, "cheaper to replace it." Dara took the opportunity as a challenge. She was able to jury-rig a system that bypassed most of the redundant, proprietary parts that were in place to prevent easy repairs of the speeder.

OBLIGATION - Debt (10) Dara escaped her homeworld with the help of a kindly freighter captain, Ozan Aryss, who took her on as part of his crew. Despite having seen her express her connection with the Force, he never used it against her. After leaving the crew, Dara vows that she will pay him back for what he did for her.

Dara is average for a human. Roughly 5'7", average build. She is dark-skinned and has black hair and brown eyes. She has a tendency to slouch when she's focused on her work.

She normally opts for functional clothing, preferring to blend in rather than stand out.
