Background

"Rip" is a man out of time; a clone out of time. Captured by Separatist forces during the early stages of the Clone Wars, he was frozen in stasis for further study and interrogation. The "shiny" had very little combat experience under his belt, and as such barely had any useful information to divulge to the Separatist interrogators. This led to him being held in stasis for a very, very long time; forgotten within a Separatist storage facility.

That is, until he was found by scavengers, who proceeded to sell his stasis pod to a particular criminal syndicate. Syndicate smugglers were in charge of transporting the precious cargo, but a series of unfortunate events led to their freighter crashing into an inhabited planet, and more importantly, the deactivation of Rip's stasis pod. His training kicking in despite the confusing situation, the Trooper subdued the remaining smuggling crew and stole some clothes (as he'd been stripped of his own Phase I armor long ago) alongside a Blaster pistol. He makes his way towards civilization, hopefully to find a way to contact the GAR. Is he in Republic space? Separatist territory? He has no way of knowing, but one thing's for sure: he's in for a rude awakening, once he discovers the state of the galaxy...

As an aside: Rip has very strange luck. While his nickname sounds rather violent, the incident behind its origin is anything but. He'd rather not talk about it. It's embarrassing.

Motivation

Belief: The Republic -

Rip is staunchly loyal to the former Republic and the chain of command that was established early on. Should he learn of Order 66, he will find it unbelievable, and will be driven to investigate the nature of such an event. If he were to witness the Empire's tyranny, he would be appalled. There's no way this could be the glorious Republic's successor government. Something isn't right.

Obligations

Bounty -

Being a valuable piece of merchandise that has struck it out on his own, Rip has a price on his head from one very upset crime lord. This bounty is not publicized by the usual Bounty Hunters' Guild channels, though, being that Clones are property of The Empire. Rather, those chasing the bounty are directly contracted from within the crime syndicate's ranks, or even professional Hunters that are known to be "suitably discrete". The only condition for this job is that the mark is to be brought back alive. No disintegrations.

Description

He's a Clone Trooper, so naturally he looks like a carbon copy of Jango Fett. He still has no tattoos or markings that would've distinguished him from his Clone brethren, but what he does have is a nasty blaster scar on his left shoulder, from when he was incapacitated and captured by the CIS. It looks far worse than it feels.

The clothing he seized from the smugglers transporting him included a jacket with a hood. Assuming he could be in Separatist space, he pulls it over his head, and wraps his lower face in cloth, wearing it as a makeshift face-mask.
