Background
Just one of many RA-7 protocol droids bought by the Empire to manage their inventories, carry intel, and monitor operations, NO-7 was one who, over his time just doing his duty, became beset by intense boredom. He grew to despise the inane bookkeeping and box-shuffling he was always forced to do, crammed into the cargo hold of some musty shuttle by barky officers. His malice drove him to constantly be running calculations in the back of his head on the likelihood of an Imperial loss in the war. The odds were always slim, but he always strove for a different structure, or new data to try to turn the formula around. One day he got what he was looking for. While scrawling over a terminal, keeping inventory in the same old cargo bay, he overheard a hushed group of stormtroopers who had conspired in the relative privacy of the crate stacks. They spoke of defecting, a rebel outpost on the planet the ship was going to, and a plot to take out the pilots just as the ships leaves lightspeed. NO-7 was as delighted as a droid could be. This was his chance...
Brush past some things, the transport crash landed, most of the crew died, but not before a distress signal was sent that there was a munity that happened to include the inventory droid. NO-7 and the four surviving defectors trekked across the wilderness for days in the vague direction of civilization, and the hopes of finding the Rebel outpost. However, after some time on the run the stormtrooper defectors began getting paranoid that NO-7 might be a threat to keep around, he could be relaying information back to the empire. Eno tried to deter them, but it ultimately came to blows. When the dust settled, NO-7 stood alone.
Motivation
Independence. Eno wants free from the Empire's shackles, no organic talking down to him, and self sufficiency. He hopes to inspire that in other droids he encounters.
Obligations
On the run from the Empire for dereliction of duty, aiding military defectors, crashing an interplanetary troop transport, murdering several soldiers and officers, stealing contraband (himself counting as some of the "contraband")
Description
A metallic black RA-7 protocol droid, with 3PO-like body plating, however slightly more articulated overall. Much more articulate arms and hands that he modified himself to improve balance and blaster wielding. Rough patch-jobs dot his frame, and his once-shiny plates are quite scuffed scratched and rusted at the edges. His most distinguishing feature is his missing right eye, which was lost in the mutiny that brought down his Imperial transport. The socket where the large segmented eye used to be is a dark pit where metal framework and frayed wiring is visible. He has dark satchel across his back that appears to be tearing at the seams from how over-filled it is
