Background
Huntik Dvorad was born to a very old and prestigious family. When Pantora was turned into a democracy with the Pantoran Assembly as its ruling government, the Dvorads, while following Pantoran Society into this new age, represented the ideals of a more feudal era, with many in the family retaining their noble titles. Fast forward into modern day and these values made the Dvorad family one of the most prominent supporters of the Expansionist faction of the Assembly. They viewed the Fall of the Republic as confirmation of their beliefs and now advocate evermore for PAntora to spread its wings. As part of the Dvorad family, Huntik was very much groomed for the politics of Pantora and the etiquette of the Noble families. Having the pressure of living up to his ancestors hanging over everything he does. When he came of age he received a great family heirloom, in the form of a gun (which had been used to fire the last shot of an ancient war), and was given a position in the Faction. Huntik used this opportunity to further his political resume, with his eventual goal a position in the Assembly. Unfortunately for Huntik and the Expansionist, many in Pantora did not agree with their point of view and as such many of their policies and bills were rejected. While many in the Expansionists remained democratic and respected the Assembly's decisions, the Dvorads had no such loyalties and continued with their plans of forging alliances and treaties with anyone they could (whether they be slavers, spice traders, or worse) sending various emissaries to do business. Huntik saw an opportunity and made himself readily available to the Head of the family in the the hopes of getting on his good side (and possibly support on his bid for the Assembly). The job was simple: meet with an IBC rep named Dom Kanaan (now deceased along with his brother as a result of Sojourn's activities) and forge a treaty with him, bringing tens of thousands of credits to fund the Dvorads plans. Unfortunately, not only was he woefully under experienced, but this was the first real time Huntik had ever been sent on a diplomatic mission outside of his world.
