At the GM's discretion, Charm checks made to impress or persuade other characters of the wearer's prowess may receive (2 blue) instead of (1 black).

Intimidating 1 When attempting a Coercion check, the character may suffer a number of strain to downgrade the difficulty of the check a number of times equal to the strain suffered. When the character is the target of a Coercion check, the character may suffer a number of strain to upgrade the difficulty of the check a number of times equal to the strain suffered.
Toughened 2 The character increases their wound threshold by two per rank of Toughened.
Fearsome 1 When an adversary becomes engaged with the character, the character may force the adversary to make a fear check, with the difficulty equal to the character's ranks in Fearsome.
Durable 1 The character may reduce a Critical Injury result they suffer by 10 per rank of Durable, to a minimum of one.
Stunning Blow 1 When making Melee checks, may inflict damage as strain instead of wounds. This does not ignore soak.
Defense Stance 1 Once per round, as a maneuver, suffer Strain up to rank in Defense Stance to upgrade the difficulty of all incoming melee attacks by that number for the next round

Motivation

Ambition

Power: The character craves power and authority over others. Their rule may not be despotic, but they wants to control their situation and those around them, often bettering themself in the process.

Crime: The character supports the idea of black markets, mercenaries, and other groups that fall outside of the law. The character need not be a criminal themself, but may give aid to other criminals, especially if they are family members, childhood friends, or if corruption is deeply embedded in the character's originating culture.

Comrades: The character shows loyalty to those they serve alongside. This could be either the current group of PCs, former military buddies, or business associates.

Blood Money: Simply put, violence is this character's business, and that business is never in short supply. The character knows no other way to make their way in the galaxy, and thus treats their bloody work as any other job.

Obligations

Criminal: The character has a criminal record, or was accused of a crime (perhaps one they didn't even commit), and is somehow embroiled in the legal system. Obligation may be settled by paying ongoing legal costs, making attempts to bury evidence, or efforts to prove their innocence.

Collateral Accountability: In the pursuit of a past contract, the character was careless. They accidentally destroyed the prized possession of some major underground figure or killed someone important to that person. Now the figure holds it over the character's head. Ambiguous threats and demands for repayment have become near-constants in this character's life, as the underground figure refuses to let them forget their responsibility. They have a financial blood price or other compensation they could pay, but it is astronomical. Until it is paid off, however, the guilt and fear are ever-present. If this Obligation is triggered, the character can suffer to some or all skill checks during the session (at the GM's discretion) due to this burden on their nerves.

• Special Abilities: Trandoshans begin the game with one rank in Perception. They still may not train Perception above rank 2 during character creation.
• Regeneration: Whenever a Trandoshan would recover one or more wounds from natural rest or recuperation in a Bacta tank, they recover one additional wound. They do not recover one additional wound when receiving first aid or medical treatment from a character, or when using a stimpack.
Trandoshans can regrow lost limbs as well, though it usually takes at least a month before the limb is usable.
• Claws: When a Trandoshan makes Brawl checks to deal damage to an opponent, they deal +1 damage and has a Critical Rating of 3.
