Background
Verid grew up on the Sakiyan homeworld of Saki. His family was responsible for one of the many factories that operated on the planet. He nearly lived at the factory, always working on the equipment and drawing up mock plans and blueprints of interesting ideas that came to mind. All things his family, nor the controlling Hutts would ever allow. The factory was full of a wide variety of slaves, where he met Lowryyyra. After some time working with him there he decided to escape with him. Knowing what would happen he made plans and left planet before anybody could find out. The two escaped alone on a passing freighter. They banded together for quite some time till they both ended up meeting Talizabeth with a band of Rebel fighters. The three all bonded quite quickly and when the war against the Empire winded to a close they found themselves leaving the New Republic in search of their own freedom.
Motivation
Place of Origin: He has always loved his homeworld of Saki. It is a beautiful place, but he wishes it was better. They were constantly fighting off invaders yet, the Sakiyan people were strong and wise. This was not enough to keep them from being all but enslaved by the Hutts when they purchased controlling interest in Sakiyan technology companies. Verid hopes his people will be better, and he will be able to return to his planet after his betrayal. Even with all it’s faults, it is still home. It is always on his mind as he travels the galaxy.
Obligations
Betrayal: When Verid freed Lowryyyra from the factory on Saki he turned on his family and caused a deep loss of monthræl (personal pride). This in turn has affected his family and caused them to lose status in the eyes of their peers. Still friends with Lowryyyra he has no immediate way of remediating this betrayal, but hopes to do so in the future.

Description
Verid is approximately 1.9m tall. He has glossy dark green skin and is void of any body hair. His golden honey-colored eyes seem to always be thinking. Sometimes you can see him visualizing the disassembly and reassembly of technology around him as he gets anxious. Hes on the slender side of things, with his bulbous head being one of his largest features.
