born on as a spacer on a medical station , grew up getting into little trouble and focusing on the studies offered by old instruction droids on the station, obviously learned a decent amount in the field of medicine and surgery growing up on a medical station, he found one day when he was overseeing a surgery that he could heal people with some sort of force/will/something he found indescribable and saved the patient from death when one of their arteries was accidentally cut open and he healed it, from that day on he found himself able to heal things with some force that seemed to run through him, he saved more lives as time went on, but always being careful to not be found out for his abilities, he didn't want attention for something seemingly so beneficial laying on him and possibly upsetting what was a life he was comfortable in, one day though some very strange individuals showed up, some in critical conditions that asked for medical care. the station having always serviced anyone who walked into their doors so long as they were respectful took them in without issue, treating them and their more critically wounded individuals.
eventually the empire came looking for certain criminals though that matched the description of the strange patients that had shown up on the station. the empire when they found them began executing the patients, some incapable of self defense, on the spot. kol, overwhelmed with anger for such an injustice being done to patients that he had helped care for who had treated the station staff well. with this emotion flooding through him kol felt a rush of instinct and sent out his will upon an energy around him, and killed the imperials before they knew what was happening. realizing what he had done, the strangers also having witnessed it, he asked them for help. they agreed to hide the bodies and get him off station. leaving his home with a note kol set out to keep repercussions from falling on his home. he ended up traveling to another medical frigate to find work and a new life under the fake name Kol Barloz, rather than his real name Kol Sullus
