Background
Born in a small rural town on the planet Kinyen, Mar Ibis is a scoundrel who has recently become obsessed with finding and taking back an ancient relic called the Drimen. Another of his kind, Philo, stole the relic with the intent to sell it to pay off his increasing dept given to him by gambling. Mar and his trusty sidekick Brad scour the universe seeking any hint or lead as to where he can retrieve this relic and bring it back to his home tribe. However, Mar has a problem of his own. His old friend Jaa won an intense gambling game with Mar who could not pay him. Because of their friendship and his pleads to not go into dept, Mar escaped the situation by agreeing that Mar had to participate in a favor given to him by Jaa whenever he pleased. These two things keep and fuel Mars going and living throughout the galaxy.
