Background

Corona and his batch weren't ready to be deployed in time for the Battle of Geonosis, a fact which all of them had been salty about. When they finally were deployed into the jungles and catacombs of Akiva, they all felt like they had something to prove. Several long months of fighting later, the majority of it with little to no supply drops because of a Confederacy blockade, and the unit was a shadow of its former self.

Corona and a few of his brothers holed up in the entrance to a catacomb and sneaked out into the jungle during the day to hunt. They sniped at clankers when they could, but most of their time there was spent just trying to survive. They eventually managed to link up with a column of clones who were retreating to an emergency evac point, and the invasion was abandoned.

Since his unit had been so severely depleted they were split up to be sent to reinforce other, hopefully more fortunate, units. Now he had even more to prove.

Motivation

Redemption: Corona's career to date has been less-than-spectacular and he feels that he has to prove to his brothers that the oxygen line to his cloning tank hadn't been faulty.

Duties

Combat Victory: The Player Character is driven to show that the Republic can hold its own against Separatist forces in any troop vs. troop engagement. He wants to engage the Confederacy's military—their best, whenever possible—and provide more victories for the Republic to tout to the galaxy as proof it can ultimately win the war. This means daring raids, excellent tactics, and acquiring the best firepower possible.

NPCs
Gel Hurda - female Sullustan Jedi Knight
Padawan Hurda was the Jedi in charge of the failed invasion of Akiva, and the rumour amongst the men was that she had overstepped her orders in attempting a full invasion; she had only been given the resources for a series of raids to cripple the planet’s industrial capacity. As the mission turned into a debacle Corona and his brothers found themselves going against an important tenet from their training and spoke ill of a Jedi. And so when that same Jedi managed to organise a retreat and was awarded the rank of Jedi Knight for ‘saving’ so many of the men under her command... well, let’s just say it didn’t sit right with Corona.
