Background
Clan Zakai was formed during the middle stages of the Mandalorian War. During the chaos, a human who had been inducted into the Mandalorians proved his worth in battle, utilizing superior tactics to crush the Republic forces in the Battle Of Arkanis. This young male would then be allowed to craft his own clan by the leader of the Mandalorians, Mandalore the Ultimate. The male used his own surname, Zakai to be the name of the clan and thus, Clan Zakai was born.
Over the years, Clan Zakai became inducted into House Vizla, with their 40th generation leader serving as the bodyguards to the leader of House Vizla. This started a long tradition of clan Zakai warriors being the personal bodyguards to House Vizla leaders and nobility.
The principles of Clan Zakai had never changed despite thousands of years having passed. Members of Clan Zakai prize honor and victory. Thus, members of Clan Zakai study hard and train harder in every aspect of the Mandalorian warrior, from tactics, to physical skills and more. Despite prizing victory, they will never stoop to underhanded methods to complete their objective, but there is no clan consensus on what exactly is underhanded, thus over the years, it has evolved to become something an individual of the clan decides for themself.
Wu Zakai was born in the year 40BBY, the year of the Mandalorian Civil War, which saw Duchess Satine Kyrze take over the rule of Mandalore. His clan had sided with clan Vizla, opposing the New Mandalorians. Yet after the war, Clan Zakai begun providing their services to Clan Kyrze, coming to an understanding with the young Duchess.
Wu was thus raised in the aftermath of the war, when Mandalore was being reformed. Yet his parents supported the original Mandalorian ways, grooming the male to be a strong warrior when he grew up. Wu had always been a quiet individual, dutifully undergoing and completing his duties. After completing his coming of age ceremony, the male was inducted into the bodyguard order of his clan. Yet when the male was 16, he decided to leave the order at the age of 15, instead choosing to seek out life in the galaxy as a bounty hunter. This was due to the male's secret desire to explore the universe and its secrets. Given his training, he chose to become a bounty hunter as doing so would allow him to earn credits while still being able to explore the galaxy.
Wu slowly made a name for himself for being a silent bounty hunter, who would never fail to bring in a target dead or alive. Yet the male also took jobs other bounty hunters would consider odd, for example providing escort services to historians or even accepting jobs that required him to retrieve an historical object. Wu enjoyed these kind of jobs as it allowed him to experience the galaxy and explore its history.
When the Clone Wars erupted, Wu was 18 years old. The male chose to remain neutral, choosing not to take requests from either side so as to prevent himself from being blacklisted on any planet. In 20BBY, during the course of the war, the male was out on a mission when he encountered the recently knighted Jedi, Se'Rei Ashden. He had stumbled upon the female while out on a mission to retrieve an ancient artifact that several historians sought after. The Jedi Knight had been injured, for the planet she had been stationed on, the planet Voss.
The female Jedi was initially wary of him and had attacked him when he stumbled upon her, thinking he was a bounty hunter sent to eliminate her, allowing the Separatists to take over Voss.
After she gained his respect for being able to hold her own against him for a while despite being injured, the male used his medical knowledge to nurse her back to health.
There, he learnt that the female was the Jedi in charge of the Republic outpost on Voss, but they had been attacked by a Separatist commando unit whose mission was to take over the outpost, which was a checkpoint in Republic medical transportation. The female however was unable to call for reinforcements as the Separatists had destroyed their long-range communication system.
Wu then decided to help the female, for the female had promised to give him the artifact he had been tasked to find, which she possessed. After nursing her back to health, the two picked off the Separatist squad together.
The incident caused the two to develop respect towards the other, with a hint of romantic feelings between the two. As promised, Se'Rei gave Wu his reward and they parted.
As the Clone Wars proceeded on, Wu and Se'Rei would meet yet again in 20BBY, this time the female Jedi helping Wu out when the male had been injured in his assignment, faced with unexpected treasure looters on his mission. This incident sparked a secret romance between the two. They would call each other whenever they had the chance and if they were on the same world, they would strive to do their best to meet each other.
As the Clone Wars proceeded on, Wu continued his usual business, choosing to not side with any of the 2 warring factions, yet there were always small rumors in the Republic about a Mandalorian warrior who would show up to help suddenly before leaving, with no one noticing that this certain Mandalorian only showed up when a certain female Jedi was there.

Wu is in love with Se'Rei Ashden. His relationship with the female drives him to complete his duties and to pull through the challenges he faces to allow him to be able to meet her again and eventually live together with the female.
Se'Rei:
Born in 41BBY, Se'Rei Ashden, Rei to her close friends was a force sensitive female who was brought into the Jedi Order by Jedi Kit Fisto. The female would become a youngling at the Temple, training in the ways of the Jedi. Since she became a youngling, the female was known to be a prankster and would often play pranks with her instructors. While the female was slightly above average in the force, where she truly shined was in her saber work, mastering the double-bladed saber at the young age of eight. At the age of 12, she was accepted as a Padawan by Jedi Knight Aayla Secura. The two grew a close bond, becoming more than just master and apprentice, growing close enough to be sisters. While Aayla taught Se'Rei how to be a more patient and calm Jedi, Se'Rei taught her master how to let go sometimes and have fun. The Clone Wars erupted when Se'Rei was the age of 19, forcing her training to change, the Padawan now becoming a Jedi Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic. At the age of 21, the female was Knighted, her training cut short due to the need for more Jedi Generals. The female's first assignment would be to serve as the Jedi General of an outpost on Voss, where she would first encounter her future lover, Wu Zakai.
Se'Rei is known to be rather athletic(agility), and is also known to be street-smart and witty(high cunning). She is slightly scrawny(average brawn) but makes up for it with her willpower and determination. Due to her not being an imposing person, her presence may be ignored at times in rooms with people who have a much higher presence than her.
The female specializes in her double-bladed lightsaber, employing the Shien style of lightsaber fighting.
Due to the training of her master, who learnt from her own master, Rei can be considered a Jedi Shadow, specializing in rooting out and capturing rogue dark-side force users.
She enjoys piloting, but does not enjoy mechanics, rather leaving repairs and other mechanical stuff to her droid companion, K3-Q6. The female also has a passion for history and lore, influenced by her lover.
The female specializes in more physical force powers, like enhanced movement and telekinesis, but is decent with the more spiritual parts of the force, like using the force to sense danger or seek out her quarry. The female is not too good with healing however and often over-relies on stimpacks to heal herself.
