Ardana is from wild space. She was born on the frigid moon Naos III, a joint colony of Ryloth and Rodia. Her mother worked as a courtesan that was based out of an establishment that catered to the spice miners and "merchants". She never met her father, but while she was growing up her mother taught Ardana what she knew.

Around 18, a spice smuggler bought Ardana. She never understood why, even after she had stabbed him to death and claimed his ship after a successful spice run. She assumed his role, and went on a few smuggling runs. She was never really actually good at flying it though, and mostly left it to the droid.

Her final run was interesting to say the least. She was given a bunch of sealed crates from a hutt on Tatooine and was told to take them to Drego on Nar Shaddaa. She wasn't told what was in them, but she agreed to it anyway, despite the feeling that one of the crates basically called to her, demanding that she open it. She didn't at the time, instead desiring the credits.

About halfway through that trip, Ardana's ship was intercepted and boarded by a CR90 for an inspection. When they busted open the crates they found that most of them contained spice, but one of them contained an ancient sith manuscript called the book of anger. Ardana was confined to her quarters, but the republic peacekeepers underestimated the droid. The droid vented the atmosphere from the ship(except in Ardana's quarters), turned on the internal defenses, prepped the hyperdrive engines and decoupled the ship from the cruiser.

She ended up avoiding Hutt Space entirely and eventually landed on Yavin 4, a nice and secluded place to study the ancient manuscripts. That moon was where the acolytes of Dromund Kass discovered her while they were exploring one of its multitude of ancient sith temples. She then spent the next two years helping the few acolytes get further and further into the temple on Dromund Kaas, until Venrir's acolytes came and opened the final door.

Ardana's primary motivation is that she wishes to explore the dark side of the force. She wishes to learn whatever she can and retain any knowledge the sith have lost over the millennia. She also wishes to free others from captivity using whatever means she has available.

Ardana is a wanted fugitive in the republic. She was once caught smuggling a sith artifact(the book of anger), yet managed to escape before the jedi arrived. She never arrived to her destination with the shipment.

She is a rare Lethan Twi'lek, that means bright red skin with black tattoos all over. She has blue eyes(when not wielding the dark side), is 24 years of age and is 180 cm tall.
