Marjack was born and raised in a strict and highly hierarchical family. Most of his ancestors had been part of various armies, and thus he was conditioned to become a soldier from a young age. During his youth, he didn't get to see his father much, as he was an infantryman fighting for the republic during the clone wars. His fascination for his mostly absent father gave him an exceptional motivation as his dream was to become a soldier like his dad, but that unfortunately meant that he tended to disregard other subjects and thus only got a very basic education. As soon as he left school, at the age of 17, he went to a military school and underwent basic training. There, he demonstrated a rare talent in shooting at long ranges, and so it was decided that he would train as a sharpshooter. In his early years of military school he mostly learned about discipline and basic strategy, and exercised to get to his peak physical condition.

As he was in his last year of training, in which he mostly focused on his shooting ability, the republic fell, and so the school had to undergo restructuration under the reign of the empire. At this time, his father, whom had been promoted to squad leader in the mean time, was found to have uncomfortably close ties with some "problematic" members of the former republican army, and was thus executed for treason to avoid any risk of rebellion. Not only did that infuriate Marjack, it also meant that he and his family were in danger. While her mother was arrested and later let off after some questioning, he knew that, as an aspiring member of the military, he would likely not receive treatment as forgiving as his mother's.

And thus he decided to do the only thing that he could: flee. He took the first ship to Lantilles, where he hoped to be far enough from home not to be recognized. There, he lived his life as a mercenary, using a gun he managed to smuggle from his school. He was later noticed by a recruiter from the alliance, who thought that his skill and his hate towards the empire would make him a good rebel. He got in contact with him a few years after his arrival and happily joined.

**Justice**

Ever since his father was executed unfairly, Marjack has sought to bring down the empire to bring back a fair justice system in which he could trial his father's assassins for their crime. To him, the imperial system is rotten down to its core and can only be fixed by its annihilation.

More than machines, credits, or information, the people of the Alliance are the most important and vital
assets there are, and the Player Character knows this. He is devoted to seeing to their safety, well-being, and capacity
for success. No one should ever be left behind: the most successful missions might not achieve every goal, but they are
successful nonetheless when no one dies.

Marjack looks rugged for a 36 year-old man, due to his past as a refugee and a mercenary. He is not very expressive as he had to learn to toughen up and control his emotions ever since he escaped his home planet, but, deep down, he is very compassionate towards others and will do anything in his power to save a comrade.

He is 180cm(5'11") tall and although he is quite strong, he doesn't look like it under normal clothing, which means he has no problem blending into a crowd while wearing civilian clothing.
