Background
Barrik spent his childhood as an orphaned street urchin in one of the few outcast colonies on Naboo. Using his increased wit and strange abilities to affect the emotions and realities around him, Barrik would sneak into the capital city to steal trinkets from the Nubian Elite to sell on the black market. One day, after finding a long forgotten discarded lightsaber, Barrik was cornered by a bounty hunter who had been contracted by a Nubian senator to eliminate the thief who had been pilfering his expansive collection of Clone Wars memorabilia. Barrik was able to bargain for his life by offering the Kaiburr Crystal in side the weapon to pay his own bounty. The Mandalorian agreed and gave him a small sum of credits on the condition that Barrik continue to use his thieving and treasure hunting skills to seek out and acquire ingots of Beskar Steel and send them back to him. Barrik used the money to purchase a jump off world and joined a mercenary crew to aid him in his mission. With some fiddling, Barrik was able to find a replacement focusing medium for the lightsaber so that it would be operational, albeit significantly less effective.
