Born to a single mother in nest of 4 (initially 6 but Ryssk's mother ate 2 of the eggs when times were tough), Ryssk early life was tough on the mean swamps of Hsskor, his clan was conservative in their beliefs of Jagannath using only their claws to hunt. An albino, keen and proficient hunter of native prey by 2, Ryssk wasn't prepared for the big bad galaxy of blasters and starships but when offered a job by Wookie hunters as a tracker, he knew he had to be badder. Repulsed by the using of blasters and speeders to hunt such worthy adversaries, the Wookie, Ryskk left and took other commissions hunting targets (only using blasters only when necessary preferring to using his own claws) to earn much Jagannath, and credits, for the Scorekeeper. He hunts for the ultimate prey.

Religion/Spirituality. In his interpretation and the ways of his clan, the ways of the Scorekeeper, true Jagannath is earned not from the death of the prey but the defeat of its mind and body. Its is best to hunt sentient targets with minimal aid from tools.
