Background
Taken from Ryloth at a young age, Salim Rune grew up within the confines of the Jedi Temple. During his time as a youngling, he was fascinated by the Jedi Archives and was even taken under the wing of Jedi Master Jocasta Nu, the Chief Librarian of the Archives. This all changed just after Order 66 where he was able to flee the temple through secret tunnels within the temple. Masterless and hunted, he fled to Ryloth only to find it under Imperial occupation. Attempting to blend in, he used his knowledge gained from the archives to become a historian and archaeologist on Ryloth, though took risks to attempt to obtain Jedi artefacts and knowledge before they could be lost, though this caught the attention of the Empire and he was arrested for possessing illegal artefacts, and taken aboard a Gozanti transport, along with his most treasured artefact, his former lightsaber. Upon capture, this was taken as a trophy by the Inquisitor sent to capture him.
