Like most wookies, Chintahr was born on Kashyyyk as the youngest son of Chieftan Rruttikkk of the Chyakk clan. Chintahr is over 150 years old, in that time he became a renowned warrior of his clan, fighting battles against many aggressors, including Trandoshan hunters and even the Seperatists. Chintahr would often venture to the Shadowlands of Kashyyyk to challenge himself against the forest's strong, natural obstacles and predators. It was in one such hunt that Chintahr was captured and enslaved by Trandoshan slavers. As a slave he was often shipped around the galaxy and pitted as a gladiator in various arenas for the entertainment of others. In this time Chintahr learned fluent galactic basic due to his exposure to the wider galaxy, however, despite this fluency he speaks bluntly and to the point when conversing in basic. Eventually Chintahr was able to escape during transportation in the Outer Rim and slaughtered his Trandoshan captors and recovered his bowcaster which the Trandoshan leader had kept as a trophy. Chintahr's experience as a slave has left a bitter impression on his personality and he despises the practice of slavery with every fibre of his being. Since escaping Chintahr has been unable to return home due to the Empire's occupation of his home planet, as a result Chintahr has opted to work as hired muscle for the highest bidder. Hoping one day to return home.

Emancipation - Chintahr despises the institution of slavery and anyone who practices it. If possible, he will liberate slaves and kill the slavers, regardless of the risk it poses to himself or those around him.
Place of Origin - Chintahr is immensely close to his home world and his people and would do anything to return there but is unable to due to the Empire's occupation of his planet.

Dutybound (2) - Despite being far from home Chintahr still upholds a Wookie's sense of duty. A commitment to his code of honour and loyalty to his family members as this is one of the few things Chintahr has that ties him to Kashyyyk. (+5 xp & +1000 credits)

Standing at 8.3 feet tall, Chintahr strikes an imposing presence to say the least.
His fur is a mix of charcoal black and light grey with some traditional wookie braids.
His eyes are hazel but one eye is scarred and is now a white pupil.
His torso is covered by faded dark gold spiked pauldrons and straps from his days as an arena combatant.
