Background
Kato's parents were on the run from the Hutt clan when they settled on the planet Devaron in 28 BBY when they brought a Chiss boy to the world. Their escape didn't last forever however, and Kato's parents were both executed by the hands of a Hutt assassin (21 BBY). Kato was unaware of the reason for their assassination but he swore to avenge his parents and enact revenge on the Hutt clan. Kato was discovered to be force sensitive, and was taken in by the Jedi order. He trained trained briefly as a youngling at the Temple of Eedit before the Devaronian Massacre.
Kato escaped to Ankhural along with a training lightsaber given to him by Jedi Master Halsey, before his death to the hand of Savage Oppress. Kato began podracing survive amongst the criminals and remnants of Death Watch who were commonplace on Ankhural. After having hidden his force sensitivity for years following the Jedi Purge, Kato is now seeking further training in the ways of the force.
