Background

She was abandoned at the mechanic’s shop like so many other children, except the machine kept her given her immediate connection to a wrench (still carries this with her to this day). She was soon a prodigy amongst mechanics and was raised in the shop where she was affectionately teased as a shorty that then later gave her a complex about having accomplishments that dwarf the people around her since she can’t do that physically. She is less impressed by the flashy tactics and tends to pay attention to the support for any good attack, like the weapons and gear and machines they used that helped any victory even be possible. She fixes machines, how those machines are used isn’t the machines fault for existing and isn’t her fault for creating or fixing the machine. She wants to be the mechanic that has touched every kind of ship and machine in space, and once she’s done that - build the best ship known to space-kind.

Motivation

My motivation is to work on every ship and machine I possible can. I keep detailed pictures of each one I’ve worked on and lists of what I’ve done on them in my precious scrapbook - it works as both a source of accomplishment but sometimes it even helps me come up with ideas for my new inventions!

My secondary motivation is to build the best ship that’s ever been, I take pride in the vehicles that carry myself and the world’s travelers to their many destinations. It’s not my job to know what is done which a machine once I’ve fixed it, its my job to simply take care of the machine and take pride in my work.

Obligations

Level 10 obligation - debt of gratitude to my master mechanics

Master Mechanic - NAME - wanted me to work with him at his shop but my dream of working on every machine and ship possible just wouldn’t let me stay, there’s only so much you can do when you stay in one spot after all! In exchange for my freedom I promised to help my Master and the Intergalactic Mechanic’s Association if I were in the area

Description

Average Ugnaught female, age 50 (avg lifespan is 200)

Being slightly superstitious (because why not use any information you have to move things in your favor) she tends to wear red in her hair and red fingerless gloves to help her mind and fingers move quicker. Other than that she tends to wear overalls, coveralls, and tshirts that don’t mind grease and rough washing. No need for fancy detergents or good smelling things it’ll all smell like metal, oil, and burnt soon enough anyway.
Young and short tries to get the higher ground whenever possible and sometimes childish, INCREDIBLY morally ambiguous and not worried about fixing machines wherever she is.

Other Notes

Likes: using the right oil for the job, the right tool for the job, exciting new projects, machines to tinker with, praise (though she will reject it), folklore, Jedi lore, superstitions

Dislike: unnecessarily moral conversations, “good” and “evil”, people who make fun of superstitious, people who point out she’s short, people who wreck machines without a good reason, people who disrespect their ships or equipment, pilots who blame poor piloting on their ships
