hk-d9 was built as part of the hk series of assassin droids but went rogue due to a programming error and established himself as a bounty hunter quickly becoming known as one of the best in the galaxy until a job went wrong and he was deactivated for thousands of years until he was recovered by scavengers and reactivated during the time of the empire

hk-d9 has a desire to regain the reputation he once had as one of the most skilled bounty hunters in the galaxy

wanted by the empire 10-) after causing some collateral damage and death at an imperial space port the empire is attempting to find the unknown culprit who is hk-d9

bounty 10-) hk d9 killed a group of four scavengers and blew up their ship they worked for a gang called the blue rancors who are currentley looking into who caused this incident which will inevitably lead them to hk-d9
