Background

The day C4-MD was disabled:

Part of the 304th Legion, SC3 Medical Division, you are tasked with battlefield medic duties and providing supporting fire (if necessary).

Today, neither seems like it will do much good. Blaster bolts whiz by you, grenades detonate near you, and countless Stormtroopers are falling around you. Your Commanding Office has already been killed, his helmet - and face - blasted off. The Bothans on this planet are not giving in, and the battle is turning against you.

Bent over a fallen ally, you administer a bacta pack and IV blood, but you can see that it is too late for him. He is the 42nd member of your 60 Trooper platoon to die today.

So far.

A roaring from the skies above you signals that defeat is here. The last of your supporting TIE Fighters is shot down in a spin of smoke, and enemy fighters begin strafing the ground troops. Proton bombs are dropped on the remaining battle tanks and troop transports are being blown out of the sky before they can even unload their cargo.

The day is lost.

Turning to retreat, you are struck by a blaster bolt in your right leg, throwing you to the ground. You begin crawling towards the designated evacuation point hundreds of yards away, only to see a bomb decimate those gathered for evac. Bodies, limbs, droids, and earth fly in all directions.

You resign yourself to your fate and slowly roll over. The sky is filled with smoke from the battlefield, but you can see puffy, pure white clouds gently gliding through a green sky high above the chaos. A male Bothan steps into your field of vision. He raises his blaster rifle, gives you a merciful look, and blasts a hole through your power unit.

Description: This ancient piece of weaponry was first discovered by the Polis Massans in one of their digs. It combines the abilities of a sniper rifle with a specialized secondary barrel for long-range medication administration. In its primary firing position, this weapon functions as a long-range blaster rifle. A hyper-pressurized gas chamber allows the weapon to fire highly-potent bolts.

By spending a maneuver to rotate the secondary barrel into the firing line, this weapon can be loaded with and fire specialized syringes. These syringes can be filled with any injectable drug as well as stim packs. Loading the secondary barrel requires a maneuver if done during combat. The wielder makes a Ranged (Heavy) attack regardless of whether they are targeting friend or foe. Rotating back to the primary barrel requires a maneuver.

Four weaponized syringes can be constructed with an Easy Mechanics check, requiring 50 credits and 4 hours per batch. Additional syringes can be made with Advantage rolled.
