Description

Background

Brought to the Jedi a few years prior to the Purge, Szeth Skybreaker had taken only his first steps on the path of the Force. Training under a Sentinel Master, learning to hide in plain sight, and suppress his presence were among the things that have kept him alive and under the radar to this day. His master protected him as best he could, however, the young padawan was unfortunate enough to have seen the killing blow that would leave him with true loneliness, and shattering his universe.

Szeth bounced from spaceport to spaceport until he arrived on the black market world of Nar Shadaa, a place he knew would have no trouble trying to disappear. No money to speak of, he found himself living in the slums, avoiding, as best he could, gang wars, and simply struggling to steal enough food to keep himself going. Yet, in the darkest recesses of his heart, he felt the fuel of his loss burning within him. It sustained him, and drove him forward. He knew that, one day, he would get his one shot, and he wouldn't miss opportunities, and finally he would have revenge for the death of his master, and of the theft of his future.

Try as he might to suppress his natural abilities, in a world full of urchins, thieves, and swindlers, Szeth stood out to a few watching eyes. The Slum lord in his district pegged him for a former padawan the moment he saw him seemingly vanish from sight. Szeth quickly found himself in the employ of a Quarren with grand hopes for the future that Szeth would carve out for him...

Alone in the universe for years, Szeth has come to rely on himself, and his own cunning. He is confident in his decisions, and has shown himself to have a shrewd mind, alongside his ability to seemingly disappear at opportune moments.

Szeth's continual self-reliance has allowed his pride to grow into arrogance. While he may go along with someone, knowing that there is often little choice when one stands alone, but he is always internally critiquing, and planning his way out.

Description

Szeth is jaded, sarcastic, and oftentimes slow to realize when something positive is in front of him. Life having given him such loss, he has come to expect only that, and is slow to trust.
