Haldrev is a jaded man that has been in the business of bounty hunting since he was 18. He started out in a hunting team that treated him like trash. He broke away from that team to go solo, adopting the daughter of one of his targets. She melted his heart of stone that night and he was never the same again. He stopped using knives and swords and trained in the martial arts to show his adopted daughter that weapons are not necessary to defend herself. Raising her was difficult with her knowing that he was the man that killed her parents, but eventually, he won her over and showed her that he is not a cold-hearted killer that she saw that night. Over the years, he would teach her many values, the highest of those being respect and duty. He has earned a very good reputation among employers such as the Huts for doing good work in a timely fashion. He's made his fortune, but rarely has any considerable amount of credits liquid at any point in time. He's gained a lot of practical wisdom in how to manage his wealth, with a fairly frugal mindset.
