Background
Nunb grew up in the counter-cultural mecca of Fullusuub, spending long days exploring the surrounding caverns with his friends, even venturing up to the volcanic surface on occasion once he hit his teens. Members of his warren-clan tended towards lives of study and understanding, whether it be of ancient history, or of medicine while working with those who were effectively exiled there after failing Sorosuub's psychological screening. Nunb became especially fascinated in his exploration with the surface temples to those ancient spirits long abandoned, and felt a kinship between them and the denizens of his city seemingly cast aside by the corporation that had come to dominate Sullust.
Having grown up with stories of the trip to go see the Cradle of the Galaxy exhibit (always with the in-confidence addition that it supported the claim that Sullustan engineers were the original pioneers of the lightsaber) that several of his parents had been fortunate enough to take shortly after he was born, Nunb was excited to leave Sullust for school on Brentaal IV, where his parental units still had friends/colleagues from studying the exhibit.
While he was a good student, he preferred the fieldwork portion of his studies, as it reminded him of his upbringing climbing and scurrying through every spire and crevice he could find.
While in school, he took work where he could charting the wild areas in Brentaal and the surrounding systems, being fortunate enough to discover several ancient sites in his exploration, though to his dismay, they were often destroyed in the interest of development and resource extraction, especially to fuel the Imperial war machine.
Seeing this destruction nurtured in him an idea that if he could find these forgotten sites and preserve some of their legacy, that the spirits of the ancestors they belonged to would know peace and would continue to exist. He came to see these discarded cultural histories as adopted family of his own, and hoped that through this preservation their spirits would watch over him and his family as the spirits of his blood ancestors did and continue to do.
Afraid of returning to Brentaal following the bombardment, subjugation, and blockade of nearby Ralltiir (and by extension the entire Perlemian Trade Route), Nunb opted to push rimward, and away from the Imperial center. Nunb was en route to Centares to meet with some potential contacts at the Museum of the Old Republic when he learns that it has been taken over and shut down by Lord Vader.
Now he finds himself on The Wheel, originally intended just as a waypoint on the way to Centares almost out of money and with no firm destination.
Motivation
Discovery(Secrets)
Nunb searches for ancient forgotten temples and relics, and hopes to uncover the secrets buried therein. His interest is in learning as much as he can about the cultures and history of the sites he explores, and preserving that history along with some of their treasures in his family vault.
Obligations
Family(10):
Nunb hopes to accomplish two primary goals in his work of sending forgotten and at risk artifacts home to be interred in the family vault: to preserve these relics of cultures and histories no longer able to fight for themselves (and effectively adopting the spirits of these cultures into his own extended antecedent family), and to adorn his family vault with these treasures from the galaxy far and wide, creating a one of a kind display that will surely bring the family cache and interest/respect.
Description
Pirin is tall for a Sullustan, at just over 1.75M. His long days in the field and exploring various ruins have not always passed smoothly, and a small collection of scars and the like are testament to this. Always with a bit of a twinkle in his eye, Nunb is able to switch back and forth between playful and practical in a blink, though he's just as likely to be laughing at himself as anyone else.
