Background
Fel was once part of Clan Sohl, a clan aligned with Death Watch but fell out of favor with said clan when he disagreed with a decision to kill another clan over a century old feud. The order went through and Fel was disgusted by his clan but stayed with them out of honor. While on a hunting trip with a close friend named Lum Jatt, Fel expressed his concerns and was promptly chastised for even thinking about it. Being the stubborn person that he is he kept bringing it up to which his friend challenged him to a duel. Duels are to the death on Mandalore and Fel managed to win. Having won and killed Jatt, Fel became distant from everyone else seeing most for what they really were.
Fel ended up finding someone within the clan who mostly agreed with him name Dorava. Dorava felt the same way about the decision to exterminate the other clan, as a result, her and Fel ended up working together more and grew close. Fel and Dorava eventually got married and continued to work together both on and off the battlefield. After about a year together, Dorava realized she was with child. In Mandalorian society, both men and women fought on the frontlines but once a family started to have children the wife had to stay and protect the homefront and raise the children. Wanting for one more battle before she was forced off the front, Dorava wore Fel down enough for one last battle before raising a family. Dorava and Fel were fighting with their clan against The Protectors, a group of Mandalorians whose mission is to hunt Death Watch and other such groups around Mandalore space. Dorava was struck by multiple bolts to the chest plate during the fighting and fell to the ground. Fel saw this and frantically started to treat Dorava but within minutes she was gone. Fel has never forgotten that day and still dreads the anniversary when it comes around. Whenever Fel encounters a member of the Protectors it can be very difficult for him to control his anger towards them.
During a skirmish with another clan, Fel witnessed Jagga Sohl, a high-ranking clansman who had ordered the massacre, get struck down. Being the medic brought along he went over to see what he could do for the leader. The wound was bad but it was fixable, but in that moment Fel did not want to save him. Knowing he would probably bleed out soon, Fel made a split-second decision to let the leader die and ran off to the next wounded. Unfortunately, a soldier who was on the mission saw this, stopped the bleeding, and got another medic to fix the leader. When they returned back to their settlement Sohl brought Fel in to question him. Knowing the extent of his injuries and knowing Fel could have stopped it he asked why Fel did not patch him up. Fel told him the complete truth that he did not agree with the decision to kill the other clan. As a result of the truth, Fel was asked to leave the clan and was forcefully disowned by his family. This is one of the worst punishments for a Mando and hurt Fel deeply, he then wandered the galaxy doing odd jobs and taking contracts in disgrace.
