Background
As a natural warrior among Wookiees, he likes to get up close and personal in combat, preferring a Vibro-Axe to a Ryyk blade, and a Blaster to a Bowcaster. He is also skilled in the expeditious removal of the limbs of his opponents, a.k.a., "Wookiee-do".

Life on the lowest branches of society is hard enough, but on a planet like Kashyyyk, it is almost unbelievable. His mother died in childbirth, and his father was killed by an infection with an alien virus. As an orphan, Nawa is the last member of this branch of the family Chew, with no known relatives.

Befriended by a Klatooinian Hired Gun (Rokar), Chewnawa couldn't wait to get off planet and leave the insular and isolating Wookiee culture behind him.

Description
Tortoise-shell color of his short fur, not yet long enough to combat braid or tie honor knots into his "beard". Just a few months earlier, he was tall (even for a Wookiee), but lanky. He has continued to grow, both up and out. He is now one of the tallest known members of his species, and nearly as wide and muscular as he is tall.
