Background

A young man from Corellia, Takeshi hails from a long line of pilots and galactic explorers.

His parents went on a run to explore the Deep Core when he was 15, but never returned. A few days later, Imperials came and searched their residence, seizing anything of value. Takeshi himself managed to get away and escape the Imperials, but his younger sister Sayane wasn’t so lucky, and was taken away.

Takeshi went to an old family friend to get help, and joined a local resistance cell that the friend ran. He swiftly developed his skills as a pilot, flying a Z-95 fairly well, even if he did tend to be a bit reckless, often too focused on attacking to worry about defensive maneuvers, forcing his squadmates to cover for him.

While the cell was unable to find what happened to Sayane, they did learn what happened to Takeshi’s parents - they stumbled their way into a secret Imperial installation, were captured, interrogated, and executed. Something about that interrogation triggered the raid on the family home, but Takeshi still does not know what it was. That said, he continued training as a pilot, honing his talents, and slowly learning a bit more on defensive maneuvers.

Eventually, when the Rebel Alliance was formed, Takeshi joined, his talent in a Z-95 translating well to the Alliance's X-Wings and Y-Wings. Currently assigned to the Lantilles Sector, and with several missions already under his belt, he's ready to do his part to take down the Empire, while he still seeks to learn what happened to Sayane...

Motivation

(Hybrid) Pursuit/Justice & Cause/Overthrow the Empire (Flavor) - Takeshi knows that what has happened to him and his family is just one of many atrocities committed by the Empire, and that other organizations, such as the Hutt Cartel and Black Sun, commit even more atrocities. He fights to see Justice brought back to the galaxy, and for those who oppress the weak to be brought down. As an extension of his pursuit of Justice, Takeshi seeks to see the Empire brought down.

Drive/The Mission (Primary) - Takeshi knows that every single mission taken for the Alliance will advance the cause and lead towards the downfall of the Empire, even if it doesn't directly go up against the Empire. Whenever he goes on a mission, he does what he can from his cockpit to ensure the mission succeeds.

Duties

Space Superiority (520 Points) - Takeshi's primary duty in combat is the elimination of enemy starfighters.

Description

Takeshi is a standard human male, with an athletic build, standing at a height of 5'9". He has short, chocolate brown hair, thick eyebrows, a bushy mustache, amethyst eyes, and fair skin. He also possesses a scar that goes across his face diagonally, starting from above his right eye, going across the bridge of his nose, and then going down across his left cheek. Off-duty, he tends to wear a dark blue short-sleeved polo, a black vest, black pants, and black shoes. His flight suit is primarily blue, with black and white trim.

Other Notes

This is one of several different variations of Takeshi, and has been adapted for the Sector Force Lantilles setting.

Takeshi has two potential NPCs that he might interact with, one he knows about, one he does not.
The first NPC is his sister, Sayane. She is five years younger than him, and shares his hair and eye color. She was abducted by the Empire when their home was attacked - she could have escaped since then, and either joined the Alliance elsewhere or made her way to either a colony or the criminal underworld, but the odds are much higher that she remained in the Empire, and was brainwashed/indoctrinated into serving them.
The second NPC is the Imperial who led the assault on his home and captured his sister. He does not know who the Imperial may be. It may be a Stormtrooper, it may be an Officer, it may be an ISB Agent. Whoever it is, if he encounters this Imperial, he may go berserk to try and bring them down.

If one of the SFL GMs wishes to give Takeshi a Love Interest NPC, most likely a member of the Arkanis Reach's crew, I would not be averse to that - all I ask is that she be a human with red hair, and that I be informed of the NPC prior to the session.

Formerly Active Character in the SFL Setting. Killed in Action.
