Background

Wenn was young and impulsive when he signed up for the rebellion and perhaps failed to think through the idea. They gave him basic medic training and stuck him in a medical tent to help the more experienced doctors, and he did pretty well at first. He liked helping people, and got to know some of the more seriously wounded patients. When the front line shifted faster then the tents did though, his fear bested him and he fled rather than stay and help. Abandoning the other doctors and the wounded soldiers that he had considered friends was too much shame for him to face up to and he disappeared into the galaxy, leaving the rebellion behind.

He traveled the galaxy for a bit, but a desire for Aleena company (and for perhaps a touch of excitement) drew him to one of Ando Prime's famous podraces. There, he met the Dai Bendu and were drawn in by their beliefs and the simplicity and harmony of their lifestyle (similar as it is to the Aleena). After the races, he stayed as a postulate, learning of the Bendu and the Force, and rekindling his love of healing. But his guilt at his past failures was too great for him to easily let go of and, although he found more peace with the Bendu than he had in years, he knew he couldn't run anymore. After consulting with his teachers, Wenn decided he couldn't be ordained until he had faced his past and come to terms with both his failures and his fears.

The aid he had failed to give the Rebellion would be given to the Resistance. He would keep his oath of non-confrontational behavior, dealing with situations without aggression or hostility. He would not run from the battlefields, but stand his ground and help and heal their soldiers.

Motivation

Duty to provide medical aid encompasses especially the Resistance and it's allies, but can encompass anyone from neutral parties to enemies.

Personality wise, Wenn is curious, nosy, and enthusiastic about the galaxy at large. The relative isolated and quiet lifestyle of his last few years means he's delighted with each new person he meets, and keen to hear their story. On deciding to return to the Rebellion (in the shape of the Resistance) he took himself to the nearest markets and bought pretty much every medical supply he could get his hands on (including a few 'herb's' that may be less medicinal than that Devaronian claimed). He also bought, after much inner debate, a stun pistol. It's rather large for his hands, but perhaps the sight of it will put off potential troublemakers.
