Background
Til Greb was given a lot of freedom as a youth to explore her own interests outside eventually leading her own Warren-clan. Due to her natural curiosity, she tended to spend time in areas full of aliens including the great number of humans who called the underground cities of Sullust home. She was fascinated by space travel and all the new and exciting places it would take her and these different xenos she would meet. Til also grew up under the rise of SoroSuub in Sullustan politics. The rapid rise and insidious takeover of government by the corporation did not escape Til's notice. Where many applauded the economic boon that came with it, Til was not enamored. Still, it seemed a temporary thing and she enrolled in and continued her training at the Spacefarer's Academy and kept her focus on becoming a merchant pilot. She paid her tuition by working in the shipyards where her natural ability and intelligence made her a quick study.
Even before she graduated, she had begun supporting smugglers and the underground markets that worked independently and opposed to SoroSuub. She felt the monopoly of the company-state was destructive to the ingenuity of the Sullust people. But when the coup of governance supported overtly by the Empire went into place, Til went all in and began supporting the Sullustan resistance. She was still too young and inexperienced to fly for Nien Nunb's raiders, but she helped repair their ships and vehicles and got initial training from them. Before she could start missions, though, the Imperial Star Destroyer was brought in and the resistance evaporated, most of them regrouping and throwing their support behind the Rebellion once and for all.
Til's decision to join them and the Rebellion was a hard one. Though she never had the desire to head her own Warren-clan, she still loved her home and hated the direction it had taken. She wanted to stay and fight. But the stakes were higher than just Sullust, she knew, and if she could help end the Empire's control, she hoped SoroSuub would be quick to fall as well.
Motivation
Progress:
The takeover of Sullust by SoroSuub was legitimized by the Empire. The rejection of the corruption of that vast corporation is what stoked the rebellious spirit in Til. She believes the only way to restore a prosperous and fair society on her home world and throughout the Galaxy is to overthrow the Empire that supports the corruption. She believes strongly in personal freedoms and the Empire is its antithesis.
Duties
Tech Superiority (5)
Til's mechanical and piloting skill is prized for bringing crippled captured Empire designs back online and evaluating starship diagrams stolen in covert missions. She believes that there is no perfect design, only better and better ones.
Support (5)
Til loves to pilot and she loves to tinker. Unlike most Aces, she isn't in it for the glory or the prestige. She is just as happy to modify Hot Shots' fighters or fly supply runs or get commandos to their destinations as she is to blow up tie fighters en masse. Her willingness to do the drudge jobs has earned her a small modicum of respect in the larger Alliance.
Description
Til is taller than most male Sullustans that people tend to see, standing at 1.6 m and weighing 56 kg. Her skin is grey green and her face and dewflaps are a proud white that she accentuates with even more white makeup in formal settings. She has always been a bit of a tomboy and wears jumpsuits and work coveralls more often than not. She developed a taste for exotic foods in her travel and loves to try anything new, no matter how repulsive. This has left her with a few extra kgs but she doesn't seem to care and it doesn't slow her down. Til's hair is jet black, fine and straight and hangs down to her shoulder blades or is tied up in a topknot most times. She tends to curl it with her agile fingers when she is thinking or nervous. Except in deep space, she wears dark tinted goggles to protect her eyes from degradation. The cockpit of her ships tends to be unlit unless she has a copilot that needs it.
