Background

The Deserter: Once, some time ago, this character ran with the antagonists before being expelled, walking away, or otherwise separated. Taking this job is a chance to settle a score, right a past wrong, prove themselves, or even.... join back up!

Past relations:
Krash, Pirate Enforcer: A scarred Barbel male security leader and thug for the Sorority Eternity. May have shockboxed against, sold drugs to, or accepted the surrender of characters in the past.

Kaa’to Leeachos, Irritable Gunrunner: A cybernetically enhanced Niktos male smuggler specializing in heavy weapons. May have equipped, argued to the point of fighting with, or claimed the bounty of characters in the past.

Addiction: the character has a strong addiction he must keep feeding. Whether it's a physical addiction to stims, dust, or alcohol, or a mental addiction such as gambling, law-breaking, or priceless antiques, the character devotes a lot of time, energy, and resources to pursuing or obtaining the object of his addiction. Avoiding this Obligation has an almost immediate result - withdrawal. The exact nature depends on the addiction, but the character finds it increasingly difficult to concentrate on the mundane tasks, often reflected in the GM adding anywhere from one to three black D6 to skill checks.

Dark Vision: Remove up to 2 setback dice imposed due to darkness.

Atmospheric Requirement: Must wear a breathing mask to breath and see outside their native environment. Oxygen is a rating 8 toxic atmosphere. Can survive in vacuum for up to 5 minutes.

Knight level play also increases the starting credits available to a character to 9,000. This
sounds like a lot, but spends quickly after a few big ticket items are checked off. You can
choose to shop a la carte, or I can put together a set of three gear packages you can choose
between or mix and match from.
For this game I am enforcing a limitation on the rarity of items you can start with. Normal items
are available with a maximum rarity of 3 plus the highest ranks in Negotiation among the group.
Restricted items are available with a maximum rarity of 3 plus the highest ranks in Streetwise
among the group.
