Background
IG-771 was once a very deadly assassin that commanded a rogue group of fellow IG droids with one goal, the liberation of droids from there fleshy overlords. IG-771 along with his second in command IG-19 would run operations to dismantle organizations that enslaved and abused droids, while also taking on odd assassination jobs and being hired by pirates to help as hired muscle. IG-19 saw more opportunity in the rogue IG company becoming a full fledge hired assassin company instead of a droid liberation force. IG-19 tried to convince IG-771 to become an assassin company, but IG-771 refused wanting to focus on liberating droid and killing fleshies as a bonus. IG-19 decided to betray IG-771 and partnered with a local pirate crew to overthrown IG-771 and reboot the fellow IG droids to their default factory settings. IG-771 escaped the pirate attack before they could reboot him, but he was heavily damaged and took asylum in the local pirate stronghold. IG-771 is left a shell of the once legendary assassin liberator he used to be. He joins an aspiring pirate crew so he can earn credits to repair, upgrade, and rearm himself in hopes that he can run into his old friend IG-19 again.
