Background
Obsolete:
KR-L10 was produces as a field medic droid, its primary duties to stabilize wounded front line soldiers and, if failing that, act as med-evac using a fold out gurney built into its front. Secondary duties were providing basic cover fire and acting as shield and barrier for troopers against incoming enemy fire. Eventually the KR-l models were deemed too clunky and cumbersome for large scale or gorilla combat, and their upkeep and repair not cost effective. And so when an KR-L became too damaged to carry out its duties, it was scrapped or discarded. After an EMP blast and shrapnel damage left KR-L10 at 16% functionality, it experienced the latter. With partial and fragmented awareness it saw itself left behind, picked at by would be scavengers, dumped and buried in a scrap heap before entering a power reserve mode for several years before eventually being salvaged by [_____]
Motivation
The Empire:
Thrown away like common rubbish, KR-L10 seeks to prove that a miscalculation on the Empire's part by being the most useful 'little engine that could' for it's new freeholders.

Description
KR-L10 is large and fairly clunky droid, three legs to support it's frame on uneven terrain and several arms to multitask with a patient. Supporting what looks to be a long shield on it's front end is actually a sort of built in stretcher.
