Background
An orphan slave on Tatooine, bought himself out after years of hard work, beign lucky to have a merciful master. Left the planet in search of a world were he can establish a colony for people like him, those who oppose slavery and the empire (which Tal sees as perpetuating slavery). Been working as a pilot for hire and moving a lot through the Outer Rim, mostly living outside of cities in the wilderness.
