Qoasa was Born on Dac, but never spent much time on the planet because his parents were crewmates aboard a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, which was a cruise liner for most of his life. When the Imperial Attacks on Dac occured Qoasa, his family, and the rest of the crew were horrified, and soon after dropping off their passengers the Star Cruiser would vanish into space without its next set of passengers.
Qoasa was 12 when the crew began retrofitting the star cruiser for battle, which made him mature enough to be useful as well as small enough to enter spaces that were more difficult for adults. After a few months of mechanical work the star cruiser was ready for battle within the rebel alliance. Qoasa was too young to participate in any fighting, but he was allowed to stay on the ship while it acted in a support role. Over the next 6 years Qoasa saw the importance of the Alliance's starfighter hit and run tactics and began to dream of joining the starfighter corps even as he worked on thier fighters in was machanic roles he was allowed. Finally when Qoasa was old enough he entered the rebellion as a full fledged pilot. Qoasa is looking forward to his first mission as a part of Blue Squadron.

Qoasa believes in the work of the Rebellion against a tyrannical Empire and he wants to prove himself not just worthy to be a member of the rebellion, but to be one of the most worthy. Qoasa believes it is the heroism of rebellion pilots that shine brightest and it is through their work that the rebellion has been able to make progress in the war.
