Very effective against unarmored targets rendering exposed flesh and causing massive concussive damage to soft tissues, however, they are significantly dampened by armor.
Can be set to detonate on impact of set with a timer to detonate up to 4 rounds after being activated at the beginning of the attacker's action or set with a pressure switch that, once pressed detonates immediately upon release.

Background

Ex-Republic Commando, he was "born" with designation RC-7070. On Geonosis, his unit all died under fire and he sustained heavy damage. He held position however and fought off the wave of "Clankers" by himself until extraction arrived. In recognition for his solo skills, he was promoted to the rank of Captain, and role of ARC trooper. After spending time in a bacta tank recovering from his injuries, he shipped him out to ARC training where he passed remarkably. He exchanged out his damaged Katarn Class Commando Armor, for brand new, red, Captain's Phase I ARC Trooper Armor. He was able to transfer the Advanced Optics Suite from his Katarn Armor to the Captain's ARC Armor. He still prefers his blaster rifle to a pistol however. Old habits and all... This will be his first mission as an ARC. He was sent to assist the Kaleesh Jedi general Jetil Skosh with peace talks on Thune in wild space. This Ex-Commando knows exactly how to work with other Clones. But now he will have to achieve that same level of success, with "outsiders".

Motivation

Comrades (15): The character shows loyalty to those they serve alongside. (I will die for other clones, as well as anyone I serve alongside. Any battle brothers.)

Expertise (5): The character wants to learn and excel in their chosen professions. The character might have a skill or two they seek to increase to their maximum. (Ranged Heavy. Wants to become an expert Rifleman. Always has been a passion of his and will engage over any new rifle / gunsmith / Heavy gun related RP.)

Obligations

Dutybound - Republic (15): The character has a deep sense of duty to a particular organisation. Unlike the Oath Obligation, the character has some kind of legal or other binding to the organisation which makes it difficult to not live up to their commitment. (My allegiance is to the the Republic to Democracy!)

Oath - Jango Fett (10) : The character has sworn some kind of oath that dictates their thoughts and actions. The oath could be one to a particular deity or a way of living. (I have made an oath to live by Jango Fett's example. This means that no blatant goofing around, drugs/alcohol, etc, super straight forward in action and thought, warrior discipline.)

Description

"Tank" is an exact replica clone of Jango Fett but ages much quicker, just like all his other brothers. His individuality however comes in the form of long hair and thick beard. He, unlike his fellow clones, prefers to keep it long. He wasn't allowed to have either as a Commando, but as an ARC, none would dare to tell him otherwise.
