Born on Coruscant from parents born on Ithor, Ruvi's father was in the Galactic Senate and thus grew up well-networked but with an interest in the regular people and general underbelly of the city. Slightly reluctant to follow in his father's footsteps in politics in his youth, Ruvi instead preferred lay jobs in the city and was a bartender as well as a mechanic's apprentice, meeting and connecting with all walks of life.

Ruvi later leveraged his father's position, preternatural extroversion, and general compassion for everyone into a diplomatic role, though kept up with some of the seedier connections from his youth.

When the Clone Wars broke out, Ruvi wanted to provide his services to the war effort by contacting various arms dealers, mechanics, and hackers to become one of the most well-known "procurement specialists" on Coruscant, while still setting out on diplomatic missions.

Redemption quest. Though Ruvi doesn't necessarily regret any of his past transgressions, he instead wants to show value of the underbelly of the Republic, bridging the gap between the Senatorial and Diplomat class and the resourcefulness of Spice dealers, Bounty Hunters, Mechanics, and Merchants of all stripes and what they can bring to the restoration and bettering of the Republic, should one exist worth working towards.
