Background
Galla was a new recruit in a Mercenary company when the Company leader took an Imperial contract to quell rebellion on a small, out of the way colony. When the planet turned out to be more dangerous than expected, the Empire left the Company high and dry, leaving them to die in the wilderness without their support. As her fellow mercenaries were killed in combat or to the wildlife, Galla decided enough was enough and surrendered to the Rebellion. She was surprised at the welcome she received and was happy to turn her skills against the Empire that left her to die.
