Cunning Snare |

Cunning Snare action to assemble trap from materials within short range. Characters moving into Engaged range of the trap do a Vigilance check vs trapper's Survival. If they fail, they suffer trapper's Cunning+failures wounds (ignoring soak). Threats can disorient for a number of rounds equal to threats spent, 3 threats or a despair to immobilise the character for a round, despair to stagger the character for a round. Trap is expended once it's sprung. Despair may be spent at GM's discretion to have the trap be functional for an extra use. Trapper can disarm trap with an action. A character aware of the trap may spend several minutes to make a Hard (3p) Survival check. On failure, as if he triggered the trap. |

After hitting with a combat check, the character may spend two Advantages to disorient his foe. Disoriented targets add a Setback Die (Black Die) to all skill checks. The target is disoriented for a number of round equal to the attacker’s ranks in Disorient. |
