Once per turn as a maneuver, the wielder may activate the overclock setting to grant the weapon Vicious 3 (Or increase the value of its vicious quality by +3) until the end of the next round. If the wielder generates 3 threats or 1 despair on a combat check with the weapon before the end of the next round, the weapon overheats or shorts out and ceases to function entirely until the end of the encounter.
