Kysr Wilalm was an Imperial scientist fascinated with the universe beyond the Outer Rim. After finally receiving enough support, funding, and scientific equipment from his planet's governor, Mal Comptant, Kysr was finally able to fulfill his dream and journey to the Outer Rim. The Empire, however, had other plans. The Empire had been keeping tabs on the young scientist throughout his successful career, and due to a sudden vacancy in Death Star engineers, Grand Moff Tarkin ordered a mandate for a list of young bright scientists, including Kysr, to report to the Empire to begin work. Kysr, a bright and curious scientist, had no desire to slave away creating death weapons for the empire. After refusing the Grand Moff, Kysr barely escaped a legion of stormtroopers sent to collect him and all of his scientific resources. Although he has lost everything he has worked for, Kysr still hopes to one day peacefully continue his scientific research.
