Kelthys (Kel) was born on the Trandoshan homeworld of Trandosha. As all Trandoshans do, Kel lived for the thrill of the hunt, in honor of his goddess the Scorekeeper. Although Kel was proficient in the hunt of living things, he preferred the hunt in pursuit of great weapons. He was skilled in upgrading weapons, often well beyond factory specifications (and usually illegal). He used his skills by the joining the Black Sun crime syndicate; using their resources to further his favor with the scorekeeper.

During Kel's time at Black Sun, he was tasked with a mission on Sullust to raid cargo ships as they dropped of supplies. He acquired and upgraded T-7 ion disruptors (which were recently banned by the imperial senate) to disable any support ships and security that would be present. The raid went poorly and imperial troops in the sector further complicated the mission. Black sun forces were ordered to use the ion disruptors on imperial and cooperate security forces alike. Kelthys witnessed the effects of the ion disruptor on organics, an excruciating and horrific death. Kelthys was disgusted by this, to see his weapons used on prey not worthy of the hunt using cheap tactics. Kel tried to put a stop to this affront to his goddess. He was injured, taking a blaster shot to the throat (could be his nemesis???). He escaped (stealing a ship, our starting ship???). No longer with the ability to speak Kelthys use a vocabultor to speak Basic.

Hiding from the Black Sun, Kel looks to further the hunt by obtaining advanced weaponry. Also looking to find his nemesis???

Bounty or blackmail; Kel's knowledge of the use of banned ion disruptors on civilians could damage the Black Suns relationship with the Empire. Also stolen goods/ship? from Black Sun.
