Hendry, and his younger brother Anders, grew up on Corellia as Sons of a fairly successful "trader." Anders had a natural talent for running a ship, and so served as a co-pilot and navigator for his father, while Hendry served as a gunner, mechanic, and security officer on the 3 man crew. As his father grew older, he wanted to pass the family business on to his sons, including the shadier side of the business, which had them smuggling goods on and off their homeward of Corellia. Before this could happen, the Empire caught up with the illegal side of the business, and came to crack down on them. Hendry and Anders escaped as their Father gave his life to delay the Empire's stormtroopers. Trading in the family freighter was a tough decision, but the new U-Wing that the brothers brought with them to the Rebellion, with Anders as the Pilot, and Hendry as the co-pilot and gunner, enabled them to quickly find their place among the soldiers of the rebellion. Both soon found themselves rising in the ranks, with Anders continuing to serve as a pilot, and Hendry learning he had a knack with weapons of all sorts, from ships guns, to sniper rifles, and even his trusty heavy blaster pistol, the two were a force to be reckoned with.

Hendry is motivated to seek the end of the Empire, who took his father from him, and forced him, along with his brother, into exile. Hendry is also motivated by a strong bond with his brother, although they bicker constantly, and he is fiercely loyal as Anders big brother.

Hendry is a responsible soldier in the army. He is loyal to his family first, and the rebellion second.

Anders is a medium height male human from Corellia, with darker hair, and a stubble beard. He tends to blend into crowds, with no distinguishing features, and moves with a stealthy agility that enables him to avoid notice in the field. He is a crack shot and is as accurate up close with his Heavy Blaster Pistol as he is from long distances looking through the scope of a rifle. He also is a crack shot in control of a set of quad laser cannons shooting at Pirates, or Tie Fighters.
