A Mirialan without much past, Artem was brought at a young age by his parents to be taught in the New Jedi Order as a youngling. His aptitude in the force, though unrealized, was clear. It was an uphill battle to learn, it seemed, but he vowed that one day he would learn to harness the force rather than make a pebble move to the side. In his teachings, it was clear that he became apt in his lightsaber technique as he had no consistent use of the Force to speak of - it was only a matter of time before he perfected his Soresu Technique, the ultimate defensive stance. Only time could bring his discipline forward.

In recent events, he discovered that his parents that had brought him to this place had been murdered by forces unknown. With this newfound knowledge, the Mirialan did not give into anger, yet something else - an unending well of justice unfulfilled. Artem pushes forward with a new goal - justice for his parents, and those wronged by the same people who ended their lives.
