Well, Kæsins' discovery was when he was only a child. A weequay warrior known only as Gormex came to live on Kaesins' home planet. This was not a simple minded weequay however, he helped many of Kaesins' kin folk with their mechanical troubles. Whether is be speeder, ship, or just a simple tea machine, Gormex could fix it. After about a year, a Milialan party hunting in the nearby plains found an old decrepit silo buried in the ground. Definitely pre-empire. Kaesins' father Kinrin had no easy feelings about having a foreign structure so close to the village, so he called on Gormex to break the seal and investigate the silo further. After initial failure to lift the silos' emergency seal, Gormex and Kinrin finally broke through the encryption. To Kinrins' horror, he knew what they had walked into, a vault of dormant battle droids! Was this an old separatist sleeper cell from the occupation decades ago? Or a new threat the village hasn't heard of yet? Kinrin wasn't waiting to find out. He asked Gormex to dismantle the droids and dispose of them before anyone heard of the discovery. Kinrin returned to the village and Gormex went to work. After returning home Kinrin butchered the meat gathered from the expedition and began selling it at his corner shop. Kaesin loved watching his father work, it always made him smile to see his father doing something he loves. After about three days Gormex finally returned to the village, he stopped by Kinrins' shop and demanded a free slab of morack ribs, an expensive delicacy. Kinrin refused and asked why Gormex hadn't returned in three days, Gormex responded with an uncomfortable grin. Three battle droids appeared out of no where and pointed their blasters at Kinrin! Kaesin hid behind the counter. Kinrin realized what happened, Gormex had fixed and reprogrammed the droids to do his bidding! Gormex demanded again, but this time, he demanded the whole pantry of food! Kaesin wept behind the counter, fearing for his fathers life. Kinrin reached for his blaster when a high pitched release of energy echoed the store. One of the battle droids had fired and took Kinrins' hand clean off! Gormex laughed, and ordered the droids to shoot Kinrins' other hand. Kaesin had enough, crying and scared he ran around the corner and pushed the droid. To Kaesins amazement, all three droids and Gormex were thrown six feet into the opposite wall, destroying the droids and injuring Gormex. Kinrin, in pain from losing a hand, lept into action. Grabbing his blaster and confronting Gormex. Gormex was injured but laughed, threatened to turn in Kaesin to the Empire, saying he was a Jedi. Far from it in reality. Kinrin' knew what he had to do. He would not kill Gormex in-front of his own child. So he picked up Kaesin and ran far, as far away as he could into the thick plains. Kaesin knew he nor his father could return. They would have to stay hidden. For how long was the only question....
