Kaesin was young at the time. In this fathers butcher shop on Milian. He always wanted to help his father Kinrin. One morning a rather intense haggle over price ensued between Kinrin and a customer. Kaesin upset about the harsh words barked at the man "Why dont' you just pay double for wasting my dads time?" In astonishment the man actually did! Was this coincidence or something else? Kaesin decided to keep that information to himself.

2.Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.*

Kaesin witnessed the betrayal of a trusted friend, Gormex. When Gormex tried to rob his fathers butcher store one day. During the robbery Kaesin was scared. Why was Gormex doing this? He was the village mechanic. Kaesin cried. Kinrin his father tried to refuse Gormex. Gormex responded by shooting Kinrins' hand clean off. This betrayal and horrifying act has stuck with Kaesin for years.

3.Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.

Kaesin lived off the land with his father for many years. Staying hidden from anyone who would alert him to the empire. Within these years he adored him. A man who gave up everything to protect his own son and his identity, plus a hand. The survival skills Kinrin taught Kaesin forged a deep bond between the two. More than father and son. The two were inseparable.

4.Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.

On a cold afternoon, Kaesin and his father ran into a group of four storm troopers camped out where Kaesin was fishing. Kinrin urged his son to remain hidden and allow the storm troopers to leave, but Kaesin was outraged, his hate for the storm troopers was unparalleled. They were the ones who caused him to live out here in the first place. Kaesin lept out and attacked with a club. Catching one trooper off guard and knocking him out. His shortsightedness caused him to be corned and attacked by the remaining three. His father still protecting him jumped into action and incapacitated the one after another in a flurry of strikes. All down. Kaesin still angry picked up one of their blasters and was going to finish them for good. Kinrin stopped his son. Reminding him that revenge and anger can only do harm. Kaesin dropped the blaster and began to weep. Kinrin held his son and comforted him. Kinrin would teach Kaesin in the next few years how to control his anger and forgive rather than hate and seek revenge.

5.How did you come to join the NJO?

News had finally reached Kaesin that the empire was defeated years ago, and his solidarity had finally come to an end. He and his father discussed leaving planet but his father wanted to stay and return to his shop. Kinrin urged Kaesin to leave planet and find a better life off world. Kaesin begrudgingly agreed purchased a ticket, where didn't matter. After boarding a shuttle he over heard a bunch of kids gleefully chatting about a New Jedi Order on Yavin IV. Kaesin believed he had something about him that was different. So he decided to head for the NJO to see if they had the answers he sought about himself.
