Background

Beginnings - The Privileged Few. Daughter of Famous Explorer Veran Barenk. Well Educated. Well Traveled.

Attitude towards Force: An ancient Religion. She is curious about the lore of the Jedi, as her knowledge of them is limited. But the force is nothing but a dead religion to her.

Reason for Adventure: Wrong Place, Wrong time: While off exploring with a couple of her fellow classmates through the Jungles of Aaris III. Her party was overwhelmed by pirates and they were taken captive. The pirates then transferred them offworld to Tattooine where they were separated from each other and sold as slaves to different parties. That is the last time she saw any of them, as well as where Myra was picked up by Xima.

Motivation

Relationship - Mentor: Myra's father was her greatest mentor. She learned all her skills from him, and she greatly appreciates him for doing so. She yearns for the day she can see him again.

Ambition - Freedom: Myra's main goal is to get her freedom back. Escape from these new people, find her friends, get back to her father, go back to school and move on with her career. Her hope and determination of this being possible are what keep her going.

Ambition - Survival: Myra realizes the dire circumstances she's in and that any day could be her last if she's not careful. She fears telling others her full name, if anyone finds out who her father is they'll either use her for money or kill her. If she is to make it out alive she knows she needs to lie low, have patience, make friends, and possibly do things she may not necessarily want to do.

Obligations

Servitude- 15: Despite her best efforts to escape from her pirate captors Myra was overpowered and detained. She was then traded to Xima as a way to pay off the pirate's own debts. Xima accepted the deal and had Myra transferred to his ship. As she was being relocated, she fought and managed to break free from her guards. As she turned to run. She felt a seering shock hit her side, she cried out but all she could feel was the electricity running through her veins as she fell to the ground. She reached out as if, somehow, she could grab hold of the fleeting life she used to know. Her vision blackened, and the last thing she heard was "Toss her into the one of the Holding Cells, we have work to do."

Description

Myra is a 17 year old human born on Coruscant. She has mousey brown hair that she usually wears tied back, either in a messy bun or ponytail. Her eyes are "as blue as the oceans of Manann", as her father would say. She is 5'7 and has simple yet beautiful facial features. She wears her father's old Fedora while adventuring and her mother's signet ring never leaves her index finger.

Myra always had a wild sense of adventure, she got that from both her parents. She's eager to go see new things, travel to new places, and prove new theories. She'd hear of a story of some relic long forgotten by civilization and 10 minutes later she'd be setting up plans to go and find that very relic. Her curiosity and determination always get the better of her. Once one journey ended, she would already be preparing for the next, if she'd always be gone if she could.

Myra is the sole heir to the Barenk Family Fortune. Her father, Veran, is one of the most notable Explorers of the Outer Rim, and Myra is very proud to follow in his footsteps. She'll be just as, if not more, famous then her father when she was old enough to make it her own career.

Myra was at it again. One of her classmates brought up an old story about a relic named the "Plaque of Victory" somewhere on Aaris III. and there she went; Hyperspace tickets for 4 requested and approved, scheduled places to stay for the night when they arrived, clothes, travelers kit, and camping gear packed and ready to go. She told her father where she was going and when she'd be back. The whole trip was well planned out. She and her classmates would leave for the journey they did not expect it would be in a couple days.

People are trying to kill me. I need to kill them first. I don’t like doing that. But that’s what needs to be done. That’s the mode she goes into.
