Background

Justified avenger - Sergeant Haddoc doesn’t say much about his past, but he has been fighting against the empire since long before their death stars were constructed and destroyed. In 10 bby the imperials put a garrison on dressel and imperialised dressel’s resources, and what followed was of course the oppression and suppression of the dressel people.
17 years ago, The former governor of Sreeharlo, now known as General Orrimaarko, was forced out of office by the imperials and created a localised rebellion to fight back, in months he was joined by other city states and wandering nomadic groups to engage the empire in guerilla warfare. Haddoc, who was a young man at the time and only just getting settle into family life with his three year old boy, ran into the forests of dressel in search of this rebellion, after his father, the only family he was in contact with at the time, was killed by imperials, little Orchalund in his arms.
Over the 10 years where imperial law was the only law and most were afraid too speak up against them, Haddoc was fighting with this insurgency against them, in the Forests and grasslands, robbing them of resources and weapons as they struck from the foliage and sunk back into it to escape, sharing the sparse spoils between as many people as they could as they survived on the sap and mushrooms of the forest flora like their ancestors used to. It was a hard life, they were outnumbered, outgunned, out-resourced by these invaders, every mission could of been his last, but he kept trekking on. He had many friends perish in skirmishes and raids over the years, and the experience of losing them changed him. But in 0 bby the battle of Yavin took place, the new imperial weapon, the Death Star was destroyed, and gave hope to the galaxy at large, it was then as the alliance grew many of the insurgent forces got into contact with them through stolen imperial communications, then through more years of fighting now with alliance help, they rid the dressel garrison. Haddoc was given a choice after the imperial garrison was eradicated, he could retire his blaster and go back to a simple life, or he could stay in the now official military and hunt the remnants of the empire on his planet. He chose the latter. And 4 years later he did retire to a nice home and go back to his simple life. It didn’t stick with him, he grew restless and he had knew from offworld traders that the empire was still out there. So he left his old life once again to hunt the imperial remnant to the edge of the galaxy.

Motivation

Subordinates: when Haddoc joined the alliance proper he was asked to become an instructor due to his prior experience which was denied after having no official proof of his exploits. Haddoc may have a bit of a hard exterior, and may seem like an asshole to those he teaches but that is only because he wants to push his recruits to higher levels, he wants them to be ready to fight imperial and not be killed in such conflicts, he has already need enough people die, experienced soldiers, friends, he will not let a young lad who can barely fire a blaster go into battle against the zealots of the remnant, atleast not without him there right beside them.

Duties

24 duty - Loss presentation - Haddoc is a teacher, and takes it upon himself to make sure the soldiers he trains are not going into battle half assed. This is personal to him, he has fought in many battles, and seen many people die, if he can help it, he will go to any means necessary to keep his subordinates safe, or even take a shot meant for someone else, he will not have anyone below him die under his command, not again...

1 contribution rank (5 total, 1 used on promotion, 2 used on second promotion, 1 used on first spec; trailblazer)

Description

45 years old. Lithe and slender build, bright orange eyes. Blaster scarring over his left eye. Camo cargo pants, his light battle armour over a white shirt with hard leather boots. Scar across forearm.

Haddoc also has a highly detailed tattoo on the left side of his chest, it looks like a beautifully organised mess of lines, curves and dots

Other Notes

Started with 110 xp, took on an extra 5 for -5 duty (along with another -5 for credits). Spent 20 xp on presence, and another 30 on presence. Then spent 60 xp on 2 increases to brawn and agility at 30 each, for a total of 110 xp on characteristics. 5 xp spent on a rank of cool.

Haddoc was known as somewhat of a local legend during his rebellion days, earning the name the triggerman of far’uule, a region on the main continent of dressel.

Haddoc’s wife was a pilot on a bulk freighter, but she never returned from a voyage, his son said he would one day become a pilot and search the galaxy for her.

Haddoc has a tattoo over his heart, it is intricate and highly detailed looking like a naturally flowing pattern of lines and dots, anyone who knows Dressellian will see there is a word hidden in the design, “Lilith”.
