TLDR: Alun was brought to the Jedi temple as a newborn after her mother made arrangements with a Jedi shadow. She was very isolated from other children until forming a bond with another Dathomirian Zabrak, almost five years her elder, who she eventually learned was her older half-brother. She almost aged out of the temple, but was taken on by her brother's master after he was killed. She's felt like a second-class Jedi since.
When ordered, she accompanied her master to Geonosis. Doc + TLDR will be updated as the campaign progresses.
Motivation
AMBITION: Survival
While it's true that Alun would like to be a Jedi sooner rather than later, and would very much like to prove glorious and powerful, the war has cemented her primary ambition as just being able to make it to some points where any of that could be possible. Countless Jedi and clones are dying daily, and some among them had been Jedi Alun had grown up alongside.
Morality
TOTAL MORALITY:
85
OBLIGATION:
Dutybound (?) - As all Jedi have been called to lead the army and fight in the war, Alun is no exception, even with her younger age and inexperience with true combat. It is her duty to fight in the war and to lead her batallion as Padawan-Commander, even if she's... not very good at it yet. After all, if Alun doesn't, who will?
Oath (?) - As all Jedi have, Alun has sworn an oath to live by the Jedi code. Unfortunately, this is an oath she struggles more strongly with than her duty to fight as a Padawan-commander - she thinks it's something in her blood, from her strange culture, but setting aside her emotions and attachment have always been more difficult for her. (NOTE: when party size is decided, the Oath's value should be higher than the Dutybound's value, as Alun struggles more with her Oath.)
DUTY:
Combat Victory - When fighting a war, combat is commonplace. Alun doesn't concern herself with the political details of war, of sourcing resources to feed the great and bloody machine. Her duty is to fight, to win, and to bring as many of her men home as possible so that they can do it all over again, and it's a duty she grits her teeth and bears.
EMOTIONAL STRENGTH:
Ambition - Alun constantly strives to prove herself and to be the best Jedi around. She holds herself to high standards and aspires for greatness, and can often lead or inspire others to similar high standards. While it's true her ambition can lead to her being overly hard on herself, the constant drive to succeed and be better is something appreciated when one is fighting a bloody, brutal war.
EMOTIONAL WEAKNESS:
Jealousy - Prone to jealousy as any young person is, such emotions are made even worse when one's force-sensitive. Alun always seems to want more than what she has - she wants to be the first choice, she wants her brother back, she wants a close relationship with her master... the list goes on and on. And as Jedi are encouraged to let go of such things, Alun feels she cannot confess to her Master or anyone else that she struggles with this, often leading her to sit and stew instead of properly dealing with these feelings.
Description
With pale, silvery skin and dark gunmetal gray hair, it's immediately clear that, despite looking mostly human, Alun is not. She's young enough (or separated from her indigenous culture enough) that she completely lacks Dathomirian tattoos, further camouflaging - or erasing - the young woman's non-standard heritage, but along with her mostly greyscale skin and hair, her eyes are a bright violet that's certainly not human.
Alun is on the cusp of young adulthood, solidly at the older end of teenagedom, but is still growing and so far only stands at 5'3.
