Weapons & Armor

Banal Apparel - Stealth equipment can render a person literally invisible to the naked eye, but sometimes simply fading into the crowd offers a more elegant and effective solution. Banal apparel is specifically chosen to encourage a wandering eye to continue to wander, allowing the wearer to hide in plain sight simply by avoiding attention.

Opposing characters upgrade the difficulty of any checks made to identify the wearer once.

Personal Gear

Datapad - Datapads are common on most technologically civilized planets, and are used to record, store, display, and organize almost any kind of data from basic text to holographic recordings. Most come with a small display screen, though some use holoprojectors and are small enough to be easily carried in one or two hands, depending on the model. They are commonly encoded or encrypted so that only the actual owner can operate them; some are even set to wipe all data if unauthorized users attempt access.

Navigational Map - adds a boost die to navigational checks (survival/astrogation)

Comlink - This piece of gear is used to communicate between other comlinks. The handheld versions are only viable for extreme distances on planets, reaching up to low orbit. However, long-range versions can usually reach the entire planet in range.

Name Rank Book & Page Description
Side Step 1 Once per round on the character’s turn, the character may perform a Side Step maneuver to try to avoid incoming ranged attacks. He then suffers a number of strain no greater than his ranks in Side Step. Until the start of the character’s next turn, upgrade the difficulty of all ranged combat checks targeting the character a number of times equal to the strain suffered by the character.
Grit 1 Each rank of Grit increases a character’s strain threshold by one.
Utinni! 1 The character removes a Setback Die (Black Die) equal to the character’s ranks in Utinni! from checks made to find or scavenge items or gear. These checks could include Negotiation, Perception, or other checks, depending on circumstances and the GM’s discretion. Such skill checks take half their normal time (this does not increase with multiple ranks of Utinni!)
Utillity Belt 1 The character may spend one Destiny Point to perform a Utility Belt incidental to produce a previously undocumented – but essential – small tool from his utility belt, satchel, or pockets, with a rarity no greater than 4. This cannot be a weapon unless the weapon has the Limited Ammo 1 quality.

Background

Sean was born on Couracaunt and lived a privileged life, while not living on the surface he lived on floor 13 which was considered relatively privileged. whilst not being raised as a traditional Arkanian he was raised with some morals and was never fully accepted in society because of his brown hair and white eyes, being called unpure by Arkanians and creepy by humans. He put his mind to his studies and was considered a child prodigy. After his studies at one of the academies on Couracaunt, he wanted to experience the galaxy. When the empire took over there was a large anti-xeno movement and Sarth was pressured by prejudice and left his home to see the galaxy.

When he got out and started his travels he was tricked and cheated often due to his gullible nature but he learned that most people have an angle. When taking passage to the more unpleasant side of the universe smugglers are often the best method of transport and they will attempt to overcharge you but should something happen to break and your services required then south often got a significant discount.

he traveled from planet to planet attempting to learn all he could and see through the Imperial propaganda that was fed to him on coruscant and used his skills to get by even if it meant doing some slightly illegal things. At some point, he heard of a planet called Karcov which was being invested in by many different independent corporations because it was right on a hyperspace lane and was habitable, and had only recently been charted. when he arrived he realized that there weren't many natural resources that could be acquired without getting the attention of the ants. the main settlement Phaiden island which was out of reach of the ants ran out of business and by this point, he didn't have the money to get on one of the transports to leave.

Sarth is now a dockworker because it is the only place he can put his engineering skills to use on the local ships.

He is educated and is knowledgeable of many things but his spending habits haven't changed since he left courant and will often spend money recklessly. he is also very cautious about his race and hides his white hair as he was treated as an outcast by both his race and humans. he is not confident with his words but will talk when something needs to be said.
